Vice President of ConstructionMark Miller is an experienced construction Executive with over 30 years of expertise with large and small commercial projects. Mark career has spanned multiple market sectors, including healthcare, laboratory, hospitality, municipal, offices, mixed-use space, Parking, and PPEA (PPP) projects. Before joining Compu Dynamics, Mark served as the Senior Vice President for Skanska USA Building, successfully repositioning their Mid-Atlantic Business Unit into the healthcare and laboratory market sectors. In doing so, Skanska earned key wins valued at over $270 million.
Most recently, Miller supervised and directed the preconstruction and construction of the Outpatient Pavilion and Parking Garage project for Virginia Hospital Center, delivering a new 260,000 SF state of the art outpatient clinic and 1700 space garage in Arlington, VA. Previous landmark projects include the DC Water New Headquarters Office, Washington, DC, the Stamford Hospital Expansion and Renovation project in Stamford, CT, Howard Hughes Medical Institute’s, Janelia Farm Research Campus in Ashburn, VA., the Newseum, Washington DC, the Salamander Resort & Spa in Middleburg, VA and the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in Tampa, FL.
Mark graduated from Case Western Reserve University, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He then completed his Master’s in Business Administration at the University of South Florida, followed by his Master’s in Design Studies-Real Estate and Urban Development, with distinction, from Harvard’s Graduate School of Design.
Mark is a licensed professional engineer and licensed general contractor in Virginia and Florida and a LEED Accredited Professional. In his spare time, he enjoys watching his son’s basketball games, traveling, exploring new places, and spending time with his family.
