Meet Abigail ThornhillAbigail Thornhill

Education: IT degree from George Mason University
Family: Two-year-old daughter
Favorite relaxation: Watching movies with the family
Favorite meal: Steak, glass of Imagery Estate wine

Abigail Thornhill is in her second year as Compu Dynamics’ Service Operations Assistant and Contracts Administrator. She’s the voice on the other end of the phone when customers call for help. She schedules preventive maintenance and dispatches our nine technicians for emergency service.

What’s your favorite thing about your job?
Abigail: I love that it’s fast-paced, sometimes hectic. We get a lot of time-sensitive requests. We respond to calls for problems in human and computer spaces.

What is Compu Dynamics’ approach to customer service?
Abigail: For many of our customers, like hospitals and government agencies, their data center is their lifeline. We want to be able to service every customer as soon as possible. We move around our schedules to satisfy our customers’ urgency.

You came from a software training background. How is the service side different?
Abigail: I’ve learned a lot about the equipment we service and some new jargon. I like that I get to use my people skills.

What’s the best thing about your job?
Abigail: Knowing that we’ve helped a customer. We have several customers who constantly thank us for a quick turnaround time and follow-through, for keeping them in the loop.

Compu Dynamics is a great place to work. They value families and are flexible when they can be, so we can spend time with our families.
