Compu Dynamics Announces the Launch of Their National Expansion

Compu Dynamics announced this week that they have expanded out of the DC area.

Washington DC – Compu Dynamics, a leading provider of mission critical facility services, announced this week the formal launch of their national expansion. Compu Dynamics has made several investments in new personnel that will allow the company to provide their services throughout the United States.

“We are pleased to announce our national expansion. The demand for design-build data center solutions is growing in every connected city across the country. We are now able to deliver our unique level of expertise in any markets; not simply in Northern Virginia. ” said Lee Piazza, Vice President at Compu Dynamics.

The hyperscale data center industry is expected to grow at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 26.32% by the year 2022. There are currently 320 hyperscale data centers around the world, 44% of which are located in the United States. The world’s largest cloud-based service providers, including Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Apple, Uber, AWS, Oracle, Salesforce, and international firms from China, Latin America and Europe, are absorbing space, power and services all across the country from the major data center REITs at an unprecedented rate.

As with any fast-moving industry, the shortest path to success is found when the hyperscale cloud provider has ready access to trusted business partners who are capable of providing high quality products and timely services on a nationwide or global basis.  Imagine entering every geographic market and being forced to retrain implementation partners.  The slowed pace of deployment could cause the cloud provider to arrive late to the market and be forced to watch as competitors enjoy the first mover advantages.

The rate of technology change in the IT industry is another driver for close working relationships between cloud providers and their delivery service providers.  When IT hardware and network connectivity advances are made, infrastructure must be modified to accommodate those changes.  By working closely together early in the evolutionary process, cloud providers can be assured that supporting infrastructure will be in place when and where it is needed when the fiber is lit.

From the date a lease is signed for wholesale colocation space and power, it’s a race to light it up.  Typical hurdles include layout and design of racks, power, and structured cabling, permitting, scheduling of deployment activities, procurement of the physical elements used to support IT hardware and enable it to function, build-out of white spaces, testing and commissioning, and ongoing remote hands support.

Compu Dynamics is frequently selected as a trusted business partner by many of the largest cloud service companies as well as the REITs who support them.  Compu Dynamics’ ability to integrate customer-specific technology solutions and deliver the highest quality installation performance puts them in a league with very few competitors.
